    Ed White is a patent attorney in Edmond, Oklahoma with extensive experience helping inventors, entrepreneurs, and businesses secure patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property protections. With a background in chemical engineering and decades of legal experience, Ed has helped clients obtain hundreds of patents, trademarks, and copyright registrations.

    Although his practice is based in the Oklahoma City metro area, Ed works with clients throughout the United States and represents innovators before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In addition to intellectual property work, he has secured many multi-million-dollar results in complex civil litigation cases involving patent infringement, oil royalties, governmental misconduct, and consumer over-billing.

    Ed grew up in the small Oklahoma Panhandle town of Hooker and is a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University. When he isn’t in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and his four children. He loves the outdoors, enjoys hiking, traveling, and family time. On the weekends, you’ll likely find him working on the yard, splashing in the pool, or manning the grill.

    Christine Martin Sterkel brings nearly 20 years of experience in the legal field, having served in both leadership and operational roles supporting attorneys at the state and national levels. Her career reflects a deep understanding of the legal landscape, with a current focus on intellectual property management and complex litigation support.

    Christine plays a key role in managing state and federal trademark portfolios, overseeing filings, maintenance, and enforcement, as well as handling copyright registrations and related intellectual property matters. She also assists attorneys in complex litigation cases, providing critical support in case coordination, research, and execution throughout all phases of litigation.

    She began her legal career in 2008 as Executive Director of the Oklahoma Association for Justice (OAJ), where she worked closely with some of the nation’s leading trial attorneys. In that role, she was a strong advocate for the civil justice system and helped advance efforts to protect access to justice.

    During this time, Christine also served as Oklahoma’s liaison to the American Association for Justice (AAJ), strengthening collaboration between state and national legal communities. In 2016, she was elected to the Executive Committee of the National Association of Trial Lawyer Executives (NATLE) and was a speaker at numerous national conferences across the country.

    As the firm Director at Ed White Law, Christine leverages her extensive legal experience to support the firm’s intellectual property practice and litigation efforts. She is known for her strategic insight, attention to detail, and commitment to advancing client interests.
